28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (Matt 11:28-29)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Gal 5:22-23)
A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. (Prov 15:1)
Through patience a ruler can be persuaded, and a gentle tongue can break a bone. (Prov 25:1)
